Ifa-Eshu-Egun Festival

You're Invited!

Isis Moon and Ile Ase Gbogbo Ebora ("The House of the Power of All the Spirits") welcomes you to our festivities.  Ile Ase Gbogbo Ebora is a subdivision and one of the four main pillars of Isis Moon.  

Please join us as we celebrate the Yoruba culture by venerating several Orisa/Orisha (Yoruba deified spiritual energies) and provide awareness of significant cultural aspects.

The Purpose of this Festival

• To honor our ancestors:  Special tribute to Iya J's parents
• To promote "Esu Is Not Satan":  Oftentimes, many African concepts of spirituality are demonized and we will debunk those misconceptions.
• To focus on some Yoruba culture aspects and basic principles of Ifa

Friday, March 17th

• Venerate Orunmila-Ifa and Eshu with drums, song, and offerings

Saturday, March 18th

• Feed the Community:  Food & Drinks For Attendees*
• Egungun Masquerade:  Drums, Dance, and Masquerade to honor our Ancestors
• Yoruba Art Exhibit

Sunday, March 19th

• Gathering to discuss basic Ifa-Orisha concepts and effects on the community
