Join Queen Iya in New Orleans

Learn more about Kongo spirituality as she gives a presentation/lecture entitled "Living the Spiritual Traditions of the Kongo Basin in Contemporary America" on May 23, 2026 at Xavier University (10:30)


As part of a symposium, she will join a distinguished group of elders representing diverse lineages. The following day, please join us for an ancestral riverwalk, followed by a sacred ceremony at Congo Square.
